This is what the Night Owl looks likeClara has always been a night owl. She is often found tooling around in the kitchen long after most folks have called it a night. And right now she would like to publicly apologize to her mother for all the nights she left the kitchen messy.

Sorry, Mom, I know that must have really sucked to wake up to a sink full of dishes and the countertops covered in flour.

In her kitchen, she feeds herself (a vegetarian), her Hubs (a meat-a-tarian) and their nut-allergic Kiddo. She does her best to cook sustainably. And on budget. And, oh my goodness, does she love to bake.

When not in the kitchen, Clara is probably thinking about what she is going to do next in the kitchen, or she is on-set or in rehearsal for her latest project. Clara is an actor, you see. A real, for sure-enough actor. Most of the time. That’s how acting goes. You work. Then you don’t. Then you work some more. She also writes – essays and plays and blogs and stuff. She also sings – both in the shower and in public.

When Clara isn’t working on other people’s projects, she’s nursing her own three-play series of solo shows called Things We Say to Girls (TWS2G) about, well, the things we say to girls – and the things we say to boys about girls. You can get more information than you bargained for on her acting website, or stalk friend her on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
